BANGKOK, Thailand — Tough Filipino boxers Elmo Traya, Reymond Yanong, and Ivan Ognayon are ready for action in Brico Santig's 19-bout show today, Saturday, October 25, in Bangkok, Thailand, LIVE on TrillerTV.
Proudly displaying his Filipino flag, Cebuano Elmo Traya (16-5, 11 KOs) of Mandaue City will be taking on bearded 29-year-old Mahdi Sarbaz (5-4, 4 KOs) of Iran in an 8-round rumble for the UBO Continental Asia Super Welterweight Title.
Traya proudly display's the Philippine flag during Friday's weighin in Bangkok.
Elmo scaled in at 69.7 kilos, while Sarbaz made 69.8 kg, both men looking strong and willing to climb the ring.
In addition, Reymond "Robocop" Yanong (16-10-1, 11 KOs) of Escalante, Negros Occidental, weighed in at 66.50 kilos for his eight-chapter war against Aphisit Nulae of Thailand for the UBO Continental Asia Welterweight Strap.
The 30-year-old Aphisit moved to the needle to 66.10 kg, and they are ready to rumble!
Also, unbeaten Ivan Ognayon (3-0-1, 3 KOs) will be trading heavy leather against Thai warrior Surawat Wunmud, 26, in a non-title 6-round war in the featherweight division.
During the weigh-in at the luxurious Skyview Hotel, the 20-year-old Pinoy scaled in at 58 kilos, while the tough Thai came in slightly higher at 59.20 kg.

Ivan's fight is the second one, Reymond's bout is #16, and Elmo's fight is #17.

The show is promoted by Brico Santig of Highland Boxing Promotions in association with Devraj Das' Marine Pro Boxing, the Naris Singwancha Foundation, and Thailand's FCC (Fight Club Championship).
The Supervisor assigned for the fights of the three Filipinos is Carlos Costa of Cebu, Philippines.
The main event for the show is the hot WBF Heavyweight World Title war between Italian slugger "The Hammer" Alessio Bisutti (14-1, 12 KOs) and Thai undefeated knockout artist Tinnaphop Kittipayak (7-0, 7 KOs). The supervisor for this WBF Title Fight of Bisutti vs Kittipayak is Alvin S. Go of Cavite City, Philippines.
