All Fighters Make Weight for Matchroom Card in Los Mochis, Nuñez vs. Díaz Title Fight Set

LOS MOCHIS, MEXICO – September 6, 2025 – The highly anticipated Matchroom Boxing card in Los Mochis is officially a go, as all fighters on the event successfully made weight today. Headlining the show is hometown hero Eduardo Nuñez, who will defend his IBF World Junior-Lightweight title against American challenger Christopher Díaz. The event will be streamed live on DAZN starting at 6 PM PT.

In the main event, local favorite Eduardo Nuñez (Los Mochis, Mexico) looked primed and ready, weighing in at a championship-ready 130 lbs to defend his IBF title. His opponent, Christopher Díaz (Orlando, Florida), came in slightly under the limit at 129.6 lbs, setting the stage for a compelling world title clash.

The undercard features several notable matchups, all of which cleared the weigh-in hurdle:

In a 10-round flyweight contest, Yoali Mosqueda (Mexico City, Mexico) weighed 111.8 lbs, while German Valenzuela (Sonora, Mexico) was slightly heavier at 112.8 lbs.

A 10-round super-flyweight bout will see Pedro Guevara (Mazatlan, Mexico) at 116.5 lbs facing Alexis Molina (Culiacan, Mexico) at 118.2 lbs.

The card will kick off with a 4-round super-welterweight contest between Hector Beltran Jr. (Dallas, Texas) at 153.8 lbs and Moises Martinez-Zumaya (Los Cabos, Baja California) at 154.6 lbs.

With all fighters hitting their marks, the stage is set for an action-packed night of boxing in Los Mochis, the "City of Champions."
