Cordero, Sta Brigada top DC Shotgun Challenge

VETERAN Eric Cordero and Percival Sta Brigada ruled the first Davao City Shotgun Challenge held last Saturday, August 9 at the Ballistics Shooting Range in Ma-a, Davao City.

Cordero won the Open Division by beating Marc Oliver Art Marcelino, who settled for second.

Third was Gil David. Cordero also bagged the Open Senior Champ.

Sta Brigada, on the other hand, dominated the Standard Division.

Second was Jayzel Zachary Lemi followed by Bon Edralin Gulapa. Sta Brigada also won Standard Senior Champ.

'It is the first ever shotgun competition national Level 3 held here in Davao City,' said tournament official Aron Asti.

It was hosted by the Ballistics Gun Club and organized by Dr. Raul Tolentino, Shotgun chairman of Philippine Practical Shooting Association.

The other winners:

Modified – 1st - Ridgie Orina, 2nd – Raymond Chavez, 3rd – John Paul Tillano

Standard Manual – 1st –Doroteo Palines, 2nd – Benedict dela Cruz, 3rd – Philip Santos

Junior Champ
Open – Marcus Banayat
Standard – Jayzel Zachary Lemi

Lady Champ

Open – Jenalyn Sinlao
Modified – Adrea dela Cerna

Senior Champ
Modified – Ridgie Orina
Standard Manual – Doroteo Palines

Super Senior Champ
Open – Roberto Sajot
Standard – Dr. Raul Tolentino
