Fighters Make Weight in Brico Santig’s Highland Show in Thailand

BANGKOK, Thailand — Let’s get ready to rumble in magic, boxing-loving Thailand! It will all happen during Brico Santig’s Highland Boxing Show Saturday, July 26, at the World Siam Stadium in Bangkok.

A total of eleven international pro boxing battles are all set to thrill fans with the action LIVE on YouTube, and the first bout starting at 2 pm 🕑 Thailand Time!

For the exciting event — which is sanctioned by the WBO and the Thailand Boxing Commission — all boxers successfully made weight!

1. Suphachoti Pooninter of Thailand (6-2) will clash in a Lightweight (6 rounds) 135 lbs against fellow Thai Anupat Sit.Kongpol (7-11)

2. Jakapong Detpong Thailand (0-3) will be in a Super Flyweight (4 rounds) 115 lbs versus Kwahli Nakon Beauchamp of New Zealand (0-0-1)

3. Worawut Sit.Chansing Thailand (0-3) will be in the red corner for his Middleweight (6 rounds) 160 lbs collision against Anawin Donaiem Thailand (0-2)



4. In girls' action, Amonrat Pooninter Thailand (2-0, wearing red trunks) will be in a Bantamweight (6 rounds) 118 lbs rumble colliding against tough and cute Wanasanan Manopchai Gym Thailand (7-4-2)

5. In the fifth bout, Ameero Haiqal Ilhami of Malaysia (3-0) is in a Light Flyweight (6 rounds) 108 lbs war trading blows against Thanathon Kaenchan Thailand (1-2-2)



6. Australian cute and strong 18-year-old “The Last of the Mohicans Girl” Lekaysha Woodbridge of Australia, smiling and wearing all black, will make her pro Debut in a Light Flyweight (4 rounds) 108 lbs fight against more-experienced Raoongdow Sit.Chansing Thailand (0-4-1). Lekaysha is trained by her dad/coach Brandon Smith of the Smithy’s TGW Gym.

7. In the seventh bout, big and strong Robert Oisin Collins of Ireland makes his pro Debut in the Cruiserweight (4 rounds) 200 lbs taking on Maitri Taiphan Thailand (0-3).



8. Experienced and brave battle-tested woman warrior Phannaluk Highland Gym of Thailand (17-15-1) is in a Bantamweight (6 rounds) 118 lbs war versus fellow Thai Kanyanat Sit.Kongpol (5-7-1)

9. Former amateur star Arsalan Dastparvar of Iran (1-0, smiling confidently while flexing muscles at the scale), gets in a Super Featherweight (4 rounds) 130 lbs tough battle against strong-looking Qian Wang of China (0-0-1)

10. In yet another women’s fight, Merv Evenor of Australia steps for the first time in pro boxing for a debut, battling a Lightweight (6 rounds) 135 lbs rumble against lovely Faruk Sit.Kongpol of Thailand (0-3)

11. In the co-main event, unbeaten, promising welterweight Jackson Griffiths of Australia (17-0) wearing grey trunks crashes hard against more-experienced Campee Phayom of Thailand (27-16-2), wearing black trunks in the pic.



12. In the much-awaited main event, experienced warrior Mugicha Nakagawa (30-11-3) of Japan fights a WBO Oriental Featherweight (10 rounds) 126 lbs title battle against handsome and skilled Sang Yeon Kim (7-1) of the Republic of Korea (ROK).



Billed as “Fight for the Futute,” the entertaining show is promoted by Brico Santig and Supanat Chanram of Highland Boxing in association with the Naris Singwancha Foundation.

The action will be LIVE on YouTube and Facebook from the channel and page of Highland Boxing.
