Top rated Filipino bantamweight contender Vincent "Asero" Astrolabio has landed in Los Angeles to join his promoter Manny Pacquiao for the remainder of his Hollywood based training camp alongside fellow Filipino stablemates. Astrolabio is looking for a fresh start as he gets to work on American soil with an exciting fight on the horizon slated for September in either Japan or America. 'Asero' will soak up watching the legendary 'Pacman' in training for his July 19 clash with welterweight world champion Mario Barrios and then head to Las Vegas to connect with his new head trainer Bobby McRoy at Knuckheads Boxing Gym.

"Manny Pacquiao is the reason I started boxing, Astrolabio said. "I never thought I'd be watching him prepare for a fight at the Wild Card Boxing Gym. I am very blessed to see first hand what it takes to become great. I will continue to be a student of the game and use this valuable experience of watching my favourite boxer to improve my craft for my upcoming fights.
