LAS VEGAS (June 4, 2025) — Top bantamweight contender Eros Correa (15-1, 9 KOs) of San Jose, California, is set for one of the biggest fights of his career as he squares off against undefeated rising prospect Michael Angeletti (13-0, 8 KOs) of Spring, Texas. The 10-round bout is part of the ProBox TV event, taking place on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at the Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio, Texas, and will be televised live on ProBox TV.
This elite-level bantamweight clash is one of the most anticipated on the card, pitting Correa’s experience, grit, and power against Angeletti’s speed and unbeaten momentum.
After his last day of training, Eros Correa talks about his upcoming matchup with Angeletti, his recent training camp, what a win will do for his career and more.
"I’ve had a full, focused camp with no distractions,” said Correa, who is managed by Boxing VIP. “My strength and conditioning is on point, and I’ve been sharpening every part of my game. I’m locked in and ready."
Eros ready for the challenge against the unbeaten Angeletti, knows he’s in a tough fight against a young hungry lion. He’s confident his experience and motivation will get him the victory in this fight. With major implications for world title contention, both fighters are entering this bout prepared for war.
"Angeletti is slick and athletic, but I’ve been in deeper waters,” continued Correa. “He hasn’t faced someone like me yet—and on June 7th, he’s going to feel the difference. A win “puts me back where I belong” says Corrrea “at the front of the line for a title shot.”
This is the kind of fight that changes everything." stated Andrew Bocanegra, Correa’s Manager and president of Boxing VIP, "This is the fight that Eros has been waiting for. He’s fought through adversity, and now he’s better, smarter, and more dangerous than ever. Angeletti is a strong opponent, but Eros is coming to show the world he’s ready for championship-level fights. June 7th is his moment."
