THE Davao Ultimate Knockout Challenge [DUKC] is set to promote another professional boxing event on February 16 at the Elorde Gym in Tulip Drive, Matina, Davao City.

“It will be pro but we will also add amateur bouts,” said promoter Alfie Angelo Jonsay of DUKC Promotions.

There will be seven professional bouts plus amateurs.

DUKC conducted its first professional boxing event last on August 26, 2024 at the Almendras Gym with six bouts.

Pitted in the main event was Eman “Pacquiao” Bacosa of Tagum City, who stopped Reyjun Arquita of Misamis Oriental in the 3rd round,

The main supporting bout featured Philippine super lightweight champion Adones Cabalquinto of Kapalong, Davao del Norte against Jose Ocampo of Sarangani.

Cabalquinto won by a unanimous decision over Ocampo, who suffered a cut on his right eyelid from an accidental head butt in Round 5.

Jonsay promises another exciting boxing event on February 16 featuring Richard Garde of Alas Stable from Compostela, Davao de Oro against Ariston “Double A” Aton of Lapu-Lapu City in the main event.

The bouts will be sanctioned by the Games and Amusement Board.
