Santisima, Portes bow in Japan

FEATHERWEIGHTS David Santisima of Masbate and Renan Portes of Valencia City both lost against separate opponents last night, December 22 at the Sangyo Shinko Center in Akashi.

The 22-year-old Santisima suffered his first setback to Young Doo Choy of South Korea by a majority decision in 8-rounds.

Santisima now has six wins and one loss while Choy improved his record to seven wins and one loss

Portes, on the other hand, bowed to Kaishu Harada of Japan by a unanimous decision in an 8-rounder bout.

Portes, 32, has 13-18-0, 6KOs while Harada remained undefeated with six wins and no loss or draw.
