Santisima TKOs Ichimichi in 3rd round

CURRENT WBC Asia Continental super featherweight champion Jeo Santisima stopped Hiro Ichimichi of Japan at 2:57 of the 3rd round by a technical knockout on December 15, Sunday at Sumiyoshi Sports Center in Osaka.

The 28-year-old Santisima of Masbate scored his third win this year while Ichimichi suffered his 3rd loss against eight wins and one draw.

Santisima has 25 wins with 21 knockouts and seven losses.

He previously knocked out Arnon Yupang of Thailand in the 4th round to win the WBC Asian Continental super featherweight title last June 22 in Cataingan.

Meanwhile, unbeaten Shunpei Kaneshiro beat Hyuga Gushiken to win the undefeated Japan Boxing Commission Japanese Youth bantamweight title.
