Undefeated Filipino rising prospects Berland Robles and Ian Abne clinched WBA regional titles, defeating their Chinese opponents in the twin main events of ARQ's Engkwentro 14 held Saturday night at the Bulacao Gym in Talisay City.

Robles (11-0-1, 4 KOs), fighting out of Cebu City, relied on an early lead to secure a majority decision victory over Chenghao Luo (7-2-1, 4 KOs) from Guizhou, China. Despite fading in the final two rounds of their scheduled 10-round flyweight bout, Robles emerged victorious to claim the WBA Asia South Flyweight title. The judges scored the fight: Edgar Olalo 95-95 (draw), Greg Ortega 96-94, and Tony Pesons 97-93 in favor of Robles.

The judges scored the fight: Edgar Olalo 92-98, Greg Ortega 91-99, and Tony Pesons 90-100, all in favor of Abne.

The two WBA title bouts were supervised by long-time WBA official Silvestre Abainza of the Philippines.
