TWO fighters from the new team-up between MP Gym Davao and Sarah-Jason Danong will see action on December 17 at the Bucana in Davao City.

Manager-trainer Raides “Nonoy” Neri handles the training of light flyweight Benjie Habagat and super bantamweight Eduard Troy Gamalo, who are both under the management of businessman Jason Danong.

Habagat [2-1-0, 2KOs] of Sara/MP will be fighting Arnold Montales of Bong Forro Boxing Stable from South Cotabato.

They will be fighting for six rounds under 108 pounds.

Habagat survived a first round knockdown to stop John Mark Hechanova of Surigao City in the 2nd round last August 18, 2024 at Cantilan Gym in Cantilan.

But in his last fight, Habagat lost by majority decision to Johnrey Montesclaros of Butuan last October 7 in Butuan.

Gamalo, on the other hand, will face Carlo Ronolo of Golden Tara Boxing Stable from Esperanza, Agusan del Sur for 4-rounds and 122 pounds.

Gamalo made his debut by knocking out in the 1st round Ryan Magkidong last October 13, 2024 in Antipas.

The two bouts are part of the “Road for Glory” promotion of Ronan Jacob Palalisan from the RJP Boxing Promotions.
