DC jiu jitsu, lawn tennis bags 8 medals in BP

THE Davao City jiu jitsu and lawn tennis bagged eight medals in the Batang Pinoy 2024 at RVM Sports Complex in Puerto Princesa.
The DC jiu jitsu team under SEA Games gold medalist Mark Alexander Lim took six medals including Ethan Aranez, who grabbed the gold in the Male Teens 56-kilograms.
Julial Than Pineda [under -69kg] and Kristofer Velasco [62kg] salvaged the silvers in the male teens.
Three were bronze medalist Judd Hero Tancontian [Male Juveniles -73kg], Gabriel Igasenza [Male Juveniles -55kg] and Jewel Empleo [Juveniles -52kg].
Meanwhile, the DC lawn tennis team under Coach Titong Cansino pocketed a silver and bronze medals.
