Davao futsal scores 1st win

DAVAO City girl’s futsal team scored its first win Sunday, November 24 by nipping host Palawan, 1-0 at the RVM Basketball Court of Palawan Sports Complex.

Right back Jashmine Fernandez scored from a kick in the second half in the last one minute of the game.

The Durians, which finished third last year, will next face the defending champion Negros today, November 25 at 2:30 p.m.

Davao is in Bracket C with Negros, Palawan and Candon.

Meanwhile, DC boy’s 3x3 basketball squad lost to Bacolod, 13-15 in the first game.

It was a hard loss since DC was leading the game, 9-5 in the first half. DC managed to add 3-0 for 12-5.

But Bacolod waxed hot with 5-0 blast for a 12-10.

DC answered at 13-10 before Bacolod continued again with its hot hands for the final score at 13-15.

DC, however, blasted Makati, 20-17 in their second game.

DC is in bracket with Bacolod, Makati, Pasig and Sorsogon.
