PETRON Monteverde and Kinetix Sports are both supporting the 1st Kap. Omar Duterte Basic Mountaineering Course set on August 24 and 25 at the GAP Farming Resort in Green Meadows, Ma-a, Davao City.

Petron Monteverde is owned by William “Tata” Haw, former president of the long-running Sunday Runners Club.

Kinetix Sports, on the other hand, is owned by Kenneth Sai, son of the late legendary organizer of marathons in Davao - Victorio “Vic” Sai.

Kinetix is coming up with the second leg of HOKA Trilogy Run Asia Davao on August 25 at Azuela Cove, Davao City.
