LORDRENS Pacheco and Anna Mendez ruled the first Kadayawan sa Dabaw Pickleball Championship 2024 held August 3 at the Flores Village Pickleball court in Phase 1, Bangkal.

Pacheco of Davao City crushed citymate Jay Ar Nobleza in the men‘s singles.

Pacheco, however, combined with Nobleza to beat the tandem of Zaldy Mendez and Kent Pasaol in the men's doubles finals.

Ann Mendez topped the women’s division by trouncing Grace Cab in an all-Davao City meet.

Mendez and Cab also paired to win the women doubles finals. They defeated the duo of Eula Lois Baltazar and LG Abastas.

Tournament director Juanito “Titong” Cansino and Renah Vidamo of the DC Sports Development Division awarded the trophies and cash prizes to the winners.

“Big thanks to the sponsors and host Flores Village Pickleball group led by Nelson Cab and Jason Jimenez,” said Cansino.

The tournament was held in coordination with the Davao City Sports Development Division and the Aktibo Dabawenyo.
