Region XI bags bronze in boy’s basketball

DAVAO Region settled for the bronze medals in the boy’s secondary basketball in Palarong Pambansa 2024 in Cebu.
The Davao Eagles nipped STCAA Region IV, 75-72 for third place.
The Eagles took a 28-18 lead in the 1st quarter and never looked back, 41-31 and 61-54 in the last two quarters.
Meanwhile, Central Luzon Region defeated National Capital Regional, 86-80 for the gold medal.
CLRAA was trailing 13-16 in the first quarter. But it slowly cut their deficit to just two, 27-29 after the second quarter.
CLRAA finally grab the lead, 69-57 after the third quarter and hang on despite the strong comeback by NCR, 17-23 in the final quarter.
