Dimzon seeded no. 1 in Unisex 2024 Summer Junior Tennis

DAVAO CITY – Francis Jayvee Dimzon of Maragusan is now the no. 1 seed in the Unisex 10 of the ongoing 2024 Summer Junior Tennis Satellite Tour.

Tournament director Titong Cansino opened the 3rd Leg started today, June 17, Monday at the Davao del Norte Sports Complex in Tagum City.

The 9-year-old Dimzon will not be playing against former no. 1 seed Daneea Sinsuat of Cotabato, who opted to just concentrate with her Under 12 girl’s category.

She is also the U12 girl’s top seed and the two-time winner in Satellite Tour.

Dimzon is also entered in the U12 boys which is seeded by Francis Daniel Florida.

Dimzon has already crushed Glian Gastones, 8-3, while Dave Borlado defeated Siamfey Elijah Mar, 8-3; Jon Archie Roceta thumped Philnand Isaiah Mar, 8-1; and Xian Zeth Onia walked over Matt Docena.

Meanwhile, 22 players are playing in the Under 16 boys which is headed by no. 1 Chad Apollo Globasa.

Globasa is seeded no. 1 in U18 boys, which set to face Joseph Benz Binondo, who earlier beat Kelvincent Viray, 8-0.

Al Kiester Paylado subdued Chester Abuyog, 8-4, while Martin Cosal walked over Nico Puertos.

The other top seeded players are Faith Lazaro [U18 girls and U25 girls], Pam Bonilla [U14 girls], Camille Jhed Clar [U16 girls], Kenneth Eufemiano [U25 boys] and Krelz Jan Gecosala [U14 boys].
