
Davao, Gensan rule Sarbay Beach volley

GLAN, Sarangani – The Davao City Team B and R12 Gensan teams ruled the Sarbay Beach Volleyball 2024 held last May 25-26 at the Coco Beach Resort.
The team of Calvin Sarte, Ashley Jacob and Jay Tuazon defeated the Gensan tandem of Criz Ricabo and Troy Torevillas in the finals.
Third place was HQ Spikers bannered by Eljhay Ronquillo and Dean Niel de Pedro followed by Blue Fins.
R12 Gensan, on the other hand, was composed of Thyme Villote and Kylla Rosauro which crushed the Grez Migad and Amark Buni of Department of Public Works and Highways in the finals.
Janelle Maignos and Cesa Sombrea of Saint Alexius Knights of Koronadal City finished third.
Fourth was Ateneo de Davao University composed by Chansy Chavez and Julia Angeles.
Jacob and Villote were chosen as the Most Valuable Players.
Twenty teams participated in the 2-day event organized by William Rebucan.
