BANTAMWEIGHT Jason “The Pain” Facularin of Davao City waxed hot by knocking out James “Dynamite” Pagaling of Misamis Oriental in just the opening round last night, April 21, at the Manolo Fortich Municipal Gym in Manolo Fortich.
The 24-year-old Facularin of Ringmaster Boxing Gym immediately went to work by throwing left-right punches on Pagaling.
Pagaling, 24, answered back with a left but Facularin retaliated with several combinations.
Pagaling again threw a left punch which proved to be his last one as Facularin landed harder punches in the midsection that sent Pagaling down.
It was Facularin’s 8th win and the 8th knockout against one loss while Pagaling suffered his 3rd loss against eight wins.
The boxing event was held as part of the fiesta celebration of Manolo Fortich.
It was promoted by Justine Firmo Aligato of Toril, Davao City.
