FORMER world rated Robert “Inggo” Paradero stopped Charlie Malupague in the 4th round last night, April 20, at the Cataingan Astrodome in Cataingan, Masbate.

The 27-year-old Paradero hit Malupague of Zamboanga City with left and right punches to the face and body at the start of the fight.

In the 4th round, a powerful right hand by Paradero sent Malupague down to the canvas.

“I thank all the people and all my supporters, especially those from Bukidnon,” said Paradero of Malaybalay City

Paradero improved his record to 19 wins, seven loses and two draws including 13 knockouts.

“I am ready for a big fight, I’ve got my confidence back,” said Paradero.

In his previous fight, Paradero suffered a cut on his scalp which was caused by an accidental head butt in Round 2 by his undefeated opponent Berland Robles of Cebu City on March 8, 2024 in Cawayan, Masbate.

Meanwhile, minimumweight Sherwin Dacullo beat Zandy Padiran by unanimous decision in the main supporting event.

Yulie Hindoy outpunched Jerry Tabago while Adam Datu won via technical knockout in the 2nd round against Christian Salazar.
