Suarez to fight Coria in US

UNDEFEATED Charly “King’s Warrior” Suarez of Davao del Norte will fight Luiz Coria of USA on April 13 at the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas City, USA.

The 35-year-old Suarez has been in the USA for more than a month already to get himself acclimatized.

It will be an 8-round fight.

In his last fight, Suarez was also in the USA to beat Yohan Vasquez of the Dominican Republic by unanimous decision on August 26, 2023 at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Tulsa.

Suarez earlier stopped Paul “Showtime” Fleming of Australia in the the 12th round to win the IBF Inter-Continental super featherweight title fight which was also a world title eliminator last March 15, 2023 in Sydney.

The fight was also the WBC Asian super featherweight title and IBO Inter-Continental super featherweight title fight.

Meanwhile, unbeaten Jared “The Real Big Baby” Anderson of USA will face Ryad Merby of Belgium in the main-event 10-rounds.

The promoter of the card is Bob Arum of Top Rank with Brad Goodman as the matchmaker.
