AT THE young age of 10, Danee Balabaran Sinsuat is already planning to help her fellow tennis players improve their skills.

Tournament director Juanito “Titong” Cansino is organizing the 1st Daneea Balabaran Sinsuat Tennis Championship set on April 19 to 22 at the Toril Tennis Club in Toril.

“It is sponsored by Daneea Balabaran Sinsuat and her mother. Instead of joining Luzon and Visayas age group tournaments, why not hold tournaments here in Mindanao,” said Cansino.

Mindanao players can benefit Philta points and save the cost of travel, board and lodging here.

Sinsuat of Cotabato is also joining the tournament both in the 10 Unisex and 12 Girls.

Sinsuat, who is ranked no. 1 in 10 Unisex by Philta, will also join the tournament.

She will compete against Hiley Adrienne Mamba, Michael Layo Tozer of Diong, Paul Gabriel Tompong of Toril, Juniver Siateca of Ecoland 2, Aleushia Maurin and Ariss Shamirah Macapendeg of Davao.

Sinsuat, who is also ranked no. 5 in the 12 Girls category will be playing against Melody Castillon, Armaryne Palac and Arissa Shamirah Macapendeg of Davao City, Cyrin Jean Siateca, Cristel Jane Del Valle, Shania Kim Villafueste and Erameya Yparaguirre of Ecoland 2, Maria Shan Tuyor [Tagum] and Hanna Loouise Palma Gil [Igacos].
