Davao City is again overall champ

HOST Davao City is again the overall champion with a total of 158 gold medals, 115 silvers and 112 bronzes after a week long of events mainly held at the UP Mindanao Sports Complex in Mintal.
The DC Durians proved to be a strong contingent as it took big leads as early as Day 3.
The battle for second spot proved to be more exciting as Tagum City and sister-province Davao del Norte kept changing the lead in the no. 2.
But Tagum City Premiers proved to be more consistent as it garnered 62 golds, 55 silvers and 47 bronzes while Davao del Norte Pioneers had a 61-50-70 medal haul.
Panabo City kept its fourth place with 22-31-36 followed by Digos City [16-24-37], Davao de Oro [15-30-50], Mati City [11-15-16], Davao del Sur [10-21-36], Island Garden City of Samal [8-7-8], Davao Occidental [7-9-19] and Davao Oriental [5-9-29].
