
Bantay wins again but Flores falls

Bantay.
UNDEFEATED Junebirth Bantay of Yolly Alfante Stable from Bacoor scored a majority decision win against Louie Jay Albino of La Union last March 22 at the Montano Hall, Cruz Herrera in Caridad, Cavite City.
Bantay was the busier fighter than Albino. The scores were 59-55 and 58-56 in Bantay's favor while one judge had it even 55-55 in the 6-round bout.
Bantay now has three straight wins with no loss or draw while Albino buffered his 4th loss against three wins.
Kasty Flores of Alfante Stable, however, lost to Jeffrey Basil of Baguio by a unanimous decision.
Kiven “The Bull” Asseniero of Ata Stable from Zamboanga City retired Jecker Buhawe of Kambal Kamao Stable in the 3rd round.
The other results:
Rovert Ronquillo of YA Stable-Bacoor out punched Joshua Solis of Bauang by a unanimous decision;
Jake Rosal of Malabon City stopped Edrian Borja of Malabon in the 2nd round;
Pons Henry Seneres of Pangasinan settled a majority draw with Alvin Tayo of Negros Occidental.
