SOUTHPAW Jesselle “Jazzy Jezzy” Pagaduan of Benguet will fight Panumad Bubpamalo of Thailand on March 30 at the World Siam Stadium in Bangkok.

Pagaduan had five fights outside the Philippines and four of them were in Japan while only one in Thailand.

She won by a unanimous decision over Saranyaphong Theinthong last July 8, 2018 at Ram 100 Thai Boxing Stadium in Ramkamhaeng, Bangkok.

In her first bout in Japan, Pagaduan won by a TKO over Li Yun Ting in the 4th round last September 23, 2012 at Sangyo Hall, Kanazawa.

But in second outing in Japan, Pagaduan lost by a unanimous decision to Nao Ikeyama for the vacant WBO World atomweight title last May 17, 2014 at Azalea Taisho in Osaka.

Pagaduan settled for a technical draw in her third fight against Kumiko Seeser Ikehara for the WBO World minimumweight title last February 28, 2015 at Azalea Taisho in Osaka.

Pagaduan’s last fight was a World Boxing Organization World light flyweight title fight in December 14, 2019 wherein she suffered a technical knockout against Japanese Tenkai Tsunami in the 8th round at the Uchinoura Gringa Arena in Kimotsuki-cho. It was only the second loss suffered by Pagaduan against 12 wins and five knockouts and one draw.

Bubpamalo, on the other hand, has already two fights this year that she both won.

The Thai boxer has height advantage against Pagaduan. She stands 5-foot-5 while Pagaduan is only a 5-footer.

Bubpamalo lost in her first three outings but bounced back in her last three fights for a record of 3-3-0, 2KOs.

Bubpamalo won by TKO in the 2nd round over Chalinee Silalak last January 22 then crushed Jeeranan Kaeochana by a TKO also in 2nd round last February 25 both in Singmanassak Muaythai School in Pathum Thani.

Supanat Chanram and Brico Santig of Highland Boxing Team are the promoters.
