
Daya, Paulino rule OCR

DAVAO CITY – Ronel Daya and Anne Paulino rule the Elite Men and Women in the Team Kuwago Obstacle Course Race held last March 24 at the Northtown Center in Cabantian.
Daya clocked 29.34 to dominate the Elite Men category.
He was followed by Mark Luigi Joyce at 30.21. Third was Jonathan Pido at 44.33.
Paulino won the Elite Women at 49.47 followed by Doreen Lapating [1:01:51] and Steffi Mailwas [1:07:21] as second and third, respectively.
Paulino also combined with Japhet Bugnos, Glenn Laguna and Luijie Gargar to win the group category.
First runner-up was 24 Fitcamp 2 composed of Irish Kate Sevilles, Romeo Vasquez Jr., James Carl Lorenzana and Christopher Cariaga.
Team Madayaw made up of Glesserjyo Marden Calcena, Price Merca, Alejandro and Roselle Cruz was second runner-up.
Marvin Ba-ang topped the Open Male category at 40.41 while second was Jayster Magnanao [42.53]. Third was Richard Raymundo Jr. [43.34].
Caren Casas posted the Open Female category with a time of 59.52.
She was followed by Mirasol Pelino [1:30:06] while third was Kate Neccesario [1:31.27].
The event was sponsored by Pilipinas Obstacle Sports Federation and Aktibo Dabawenyo.
