
Alindao rules Araw Waifu Downhill series

DAVAO CITY – Local bet Vay Alindao ruled the women’s category in the 87th Araw ng Dabaw Waifu Downhill Series Championship Race held last March 17 in Toril.
Alindao of the Zookee Zooee/VA Racing Team had a winning timeof seven minutes, 19.25 seconds.
She was followed in second by Carol Serquina of Waifu/Kybgn/Sox MTB with 8:13.81.
Third was Precious Alexa Dellona of Beeapple Racing team with 8:25.34 followed by Sheika Canedo of Clarockin Taurus/Gearhead with 9:46.31.
Alindao’s father Boying also finished second in the men’s 50above category behind Boyet Aragones.
The third to fifth placers were Lito Patayan, Roman Lonasca and Jojo Anito respectively.
Meanwhile, Alden Comeros of Team Henry clocked 6:02.00 to winthe men’s 20-29 years old.
Second was Allan Maali of Zookee/TUCP [6:02.66] followed by Sam Joshua Batislaon of V12Radgear [6:07.78], Jade Rocacorba of Stomped [6:19.75].
In the 14 below, Chevybless Benito Marante of Stomped RidingConcept won with a time of 6:24.72.
The second to fifth placers were Asron Serquina [6:53.87],Gean Sarmiento [6:43.34], Kyle Kiero Lapinog [6:50.62] and John Abadies[7:14.38].
The organizers are Loong Moonterola and Arden Lanaza while the race officials are Steve Triño and Jun "Atchup" Mosura.
