DAVAO CITY -- Jorna Kris Suarez of Bansalan, Davao del Sur won the Ms. Fitness of the Mr. and Ms. Davao Bodybuilding 2024 last March 17 at the NCCC Mall Victoria Plaza in Bajada.
The 32-year-old Suarez showed her remarkable front and back pose to beat early-favorite Hannah Galan of Davao City.
Galan settled for second place while third was Alexa Mae Olinan also of Davao City.
“I’m super happy. Of course a lot of sacrifices must be made and discipline is the key when it comes to this kind of competition,” said Suarez.
Suarez had prepared for the competition despite her working as a Branch Manager of the cooperative in Makilala Multi-Purpose Cooperative at Bansalan.
“Even though I am busy with my schedule I still managed to prepare this event,” said Suarez.
Suarez, who is into bodybuilding for four years now, also owns her own gym - Jacks Fitness Gym.
She first participated in the World Fitness Federation (WFF)- Gensan-Bikini Open and emerged the champion. In her second attempt, Suarez placed second in the International Fitness and Bodybuilding Federation (IFBB)- Mindanao-wide - Bikini Open.
However, Suarez finished first in the Mr. And Ms. Davao United Body building Association.
Meanwhile, local bet Daniel Dongallo ruled the heavyweight division in the Mr. Davao Bodybuilding 2024.
Kevin Bros Labanan finished second followed by Bill Anthony Vergara of DC.
