More than 30 teams are joining 2nd DC Athletic Festival

DAVAO CITY – More than 30 teams are now joining the 2nd Davao City Athletics Festival set March 23 and 24 at the University of Mindanao Matina Campus in Ma-a.

"Almost half of what was added yesterday," said organizer Kenneth Sai.

The teams are Aces Sovereign of Hagonoy (affiliated team), Barobo Team, BBG Boys, Bernardo D. Carpio NHS, Bislig City Athletics Club, Brokenshie College of Toril, Buda NHS Trekkers, Bukid Sprinters Calinan NHS, Cotabato Province, Carabao Runners Boys, Cotabato Province, Carabao Runners Girls, Crossing Bayas NHS, CVAES Dragon Kids, Davao City NHS, DAVNOR Denians, BRNC, DNSC Tracksters,

DR Aguinaldo NHS, ET Nograles NHS, Mati City, Miriam College, M’lang Team, Philippine Airforce, Philippine PARA Athletics team, Philippine Women’s College, Rizal Memorial College, Southern Leyte State University men, SLST women, SPECTRUM, Polomolok,

Starland International School, St. Maria Davao Occidental (affiliated team), Saint Theresa College (affiliated team),

Sto. Tomas NHS, Sultan Kudarat 18 under Girls, Sultan Kudarat 18 under boys, Surallah Kangaroo 18 under, Tacurong City 18 under boys, Tacurong City 18 under girls, Tacurong City 19 above category,

Tandag Team, Team Davao, Striders 13 Under, Team Go for Gold, Philippine Team, Leyte Sports Academy 18 under, TVF High School, Indangan, University of Mindanao Davao, UM Digos, UM Tagum, Waan Warriors Athletic and the Team Xavier University Ateneo de Cagayan.

The athletes are 13 under, 18 under and 19 above.

The events are 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 3000m, 5000m, 10,000m, 4x100 relay, 4x400 relay, 4x100 mixed relay, shot put, discus throw, javelin throw, long jump, trip jump, high jump and 110 hurdles.

The event is organized by the Davao City Track and Field Association (DCTAFA and sponsored by the Philippine Track and Field Association (PATAFA) and AmFm Productions.
