
Chua bros to grace “Fight of the Fury”

THE Chua brothers of Cavite will grace the “Fight of the Fury” boxing promotion on March 22 at the Montano Hall, Cruz Herrera in Caridad, Cavite City.
Incumbent Mayor Dino Chua of Noveleta, Cavite City Mayor Denver Chua and Provincial Board Member Davey Chua will all be at the boxing arena.
Mayor Dino Chua, the eldest, is also the founder of Manny Pacquiao’s Party-list, the PBA Party-list also known as Pwersa ng Bayaning Atleta, which focuses on the empowerment of youth and sports development in the Philippines.
The PBA party list also elected and won a seat in the 15th congress to represent the sports sector.
Mayor Denver Chua, on the other hand, is a basketball and practical shooter enthusiast. In fact, he recently sponsored a fun shoot last February at Sangley Point.
Davey Chua has been organizing and sponsoring different sports. He is coming up with a baseball tournament on March 23.
Promoter Yolly Alfante is very thankful of the support that has been given to her by the Chua brothers.
“Sana tuloy tuloy na ang pagtulong ng Chua brothers sa amin lalo sa boxing,” said Alfante.
Alfante of Shock Punch Boxing Promotion will have a boxing card starting at 3 p.m.
The bouts are:
Junebirt Bantay of YA Stable-Bacoor against Louie Jay Albino of Bauang, La Union at 118-pounds for 6-rounds.
Kasty Flores of YA Stable versus Jeffrey Basil of Baguio (109 lbs.-6 rds);
Kiven Asseniero of Ata Stable-Pangasinan vs. Jecker Buhawe of Kambal Kamao Stable (122 lbs-6 rds);
Romer Pinili of Quibors Stable-Bacoor vs. Kelvin Tenorio of Lipa City (140 lbs-6 rds);
Rovert Ronquillo of YA Stable-Bacoor vs. Joshua Solis of Bauang (112 lbs-4 rds).
