MARCO John “Pacific Cyclone” Rementizo of Cagayan de Oro City is challenging reigning WBO Global minimumweight champion DianXing Zhu of China on March 16 at The Grand Ho Tram Strip in Vung Tau, Vietnam.

The 24-year-old Rementizo (15-4-0, 12KOs) had two fights last year.

Rementizo knocked out Thaai Danai Ngiabphukhiaw in the 6th round last June 24, 2023 at Suan Lum Night Bazaar in Ratchadaphisek, Bangkok.

He then stopped Jinnawat Rienpit in the 2nd round last August 31 at the Spaceplus Bangkok RCA in Bangkok.

Zhu, 27, is making his second title-defense since he TKO’d Sanchai Yotbaoon in the 3rd round last November 18, 2023 at The Grand Ho Tram Strip in Vung.

This year, Zhu (12-1-0, 20KOs) defeated Richard Garde of President Roxas by unanimous decision last January 13 at the Paradise City in Incheon, South Korea.

Meanwhile, Genesis “Azucal’ Servania (34-4-0, 16KOs) of Bacolod City will face Xiao Tao Su (13-4-0,7KOs) of China in the 8-round undercard.
