Miriam College QC to join DC Athletics Festival

DAVAO CITY – The Miriam College of Quezon City is joining the second edition of the Davao City Athletics Festival at the University of Mindanao Matina Campus in Ma-a, Davao City.
Their coach is Alvin Lloyd Andresio.

“Miriam College is joining us for the first time,” said Kenneth Sai, president of the Davao City Track and Field Association.
There are now 16 confirmed teams in the two-day race set on March 23 and 24 at UM Matina.

The other teams are Leyte Sports Academy, Starland IS, Bukid Sprinters, Phil Air Force, Surallah Kangaroos, Brokenshire Toril, UM Tagum, BBG, Philippine Women’s College, Municipality of M’lang, Davao Striders, Tacurong City, Sultan Kudarat and Villa Abrille ES.

The athletes are 13 under, 18 under and 19 above.
The events are 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 3000m, 5000m, 10,000m, 4x100 relay, 4x400 relay, 4x100 mixed relay, shot put, discus throw, javelin throw, long jump, trip jump, high jump and 110 hurdles.

Organized by the DCTAFA, the events are sponsored by the Philippine Track and Field Association (PATAFA) and AmFm Productions.
