Apolinario KOs Ongiunta in 4th round

DAVE “Doberman” Apolinario of Sarangani remained undefeated by knocking out Tanes Ongiunta of Thailand in the 4th round tonight, February 22, at the Korakue Hall in Tokyo, Japan.

It was the 20th victory and the 14th knockout by Apolinario while Onguinta only suffered his second loss against 12 wins.

Meanwhile, Kazuki Nakajima of Japan beat compatriot Mugicha Nakagawa by a unanimous decision to win the vacant Orient and Pacific Boxing Federation super bantamweight title in the main event.

Japanese Daishi Nagata scored a major decision over Koki Inoue to retain the OPBF super lightweight title and also grabbed the WBO Asia Pacific super lightweight belt.
