PCAP 6th Davao Leg on Feb. 24

THE 6th leg of the Professional Chess Association of the Philippines (PCAP) Champions will be held on February 24 at the Damosa Market Basket in Lanang.

“This is the road to the PCAP Championship,” said organizer and sponsor Engr. Allan Diez.

The tournament is sanctioned by the PCAP and the Games and Amusements Board. It has a time control of 15 minutes plus 3 seconds increment.

The leg champion will win P10,000 and a trophy plus a chance to represent Davao City in the Champions League.

“Transportation, food, board and lodging will be shouldered by PCAP,” said Diez.

The second prize will get P7,000, 3rd - P5,000, 4th - P2,000, 5th – P1,000, 6th to 10th – P500.

“Special awards of P500 will be given to the top lady, senior, college, high school and PWD,” said Diez.

Over P170,000 will be given away in the Champions League Finals slated in Manila.
