Santig is top promoter in Asia

FILIPINO promoter-matchmaker Brico Santig, who is based in Bangkok, was awarded as one of the Most Active Promoters of the Word Boxing Council last February 2 at WBC Asia office in Bangkok, Thailand.
Santig was one of the five boxing personalities who was personally given recognition by WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman.
“We are very happy that we have been recognized for our efforts in promoting boxing in Dubai, Pakistan, Malaysia and Thailand,” said Santig.
Santig said that it is a “team work with his brother-in-law and local promoter Supanat Chanram, staff, trainers and partners behind the success.”
Also one of those recognized was the veteran Naris Singwanngcha of Thailand.
Among those present were WBC Asia president Col. Thanapol Bhakdibhumi, Vice President Major Gen. Damrong Simakaiornnboon and Jidapa Jiraaukkarakul.
