BANGKOK, Thailand – Filipino WBA Asia Light Flyweight Champion Arvin Jhon "AJ" Paciones (on the left, wearing a black cap), and challenger Kitidech Hirunsuk of Thailand successfully made weight, paving the way for their hot 10-round title war set for Thursday, December 28, at the SpacePlus Night Club, RCA Plaza, in Bangkok, Kingdom of Thailand.

During the official weigh-in ceremony, the two young warriors looked serious, confident and in fantastic shape ahead of their important appointment that closes the boxing year in Thailand.

The crucial fight is the first title defense for the 18-year-old AJ Paciones (6-0, 4 KO's), son of former Filipino fighter Do Dong Paciones.

Born in Cebu, Philippines, now living and training with his coach/dad in Vietnam, AJ knows his rumble against Hirunsuk is a tough mission that he can not fail. Will he succeed?

Or will the 21-year-old Thai warrior Hirunsuk spoil AJ's deams of boxing glory?

Supervising the fight for the WBA Asia is Mr. Won Kim of South Korea.

AJ Paciones and Kitidech Hirunsuk pose with ring card girls and boxing officials during Wednesday's weighin in Bangkok.

The 'Paciones vs Hirunsuk' battle is part of Brico Santig's Highland Boxing Promotion 16-bout end-of-the-year pro boxing card.

It is set to air LIVE on Thailand's MV TV app, as well as on the Facebook page and YouTube channel of Highland Boxing.

The action starts live at 1 pm Thailand Time (2 pm in the Philippines).

May the Best Man Win!
