Wenie Verano Fights Katsara Jatpukdee for WBC Asia 112-Lbs Belt in Thailand

BANGKOK, Thailand — Unbeaten Filipina boxer Wenie Cline Verano (10-0, 4 KO’s) of Cagayan de Oro, and tough and taller fighting girl Ketsara Jaypukdee of Thailand, made weight and faced off ahead of their ten-round war here in Bangkok, Kingdom of Thailand.

The two strong-as-steel warrior women will clash hard in a scheduled 10-chapter rumble for the WBC ASIA Flyweight title on Thursday, October 26.

The event is part of the exciting Highland Boxing Promotion show at the plush Spaceplus Night Club, RCA Plaza, in Bangkok.

The undefeated Wenie will be guided during fighting time by experienced Filipino coach Jake Verano; while the younger Ketsara will be assisted by trainers of Thailand’s Samsok Boxing Gym.



Who is the two fighting girl will emerge victorious?

The exciting rumble will air live in Thailand on channel MV TV, and streamed live from the Highland Boxing Promotion YouTube channel and Facebook page.

World-ranked Light Flyweight John Michael Zulueta of Bacolod will also see action in the show in a ten-frame war.

The 9-bout event starts at 2:30 pm Thailand Time (3:30 pm in the Philippines)
