ORTHODOX Kim “Bonecrusher” Actub of Iligan City arrived in Thailand last August 29 to fight for WBC Asia female super flyweight title at the Spaceplus Bangkok RCA in Bangkok.

The 30-year-old Actub (8-11-1, 5KOs) will challenge the undefeated Sheau Ru Yang (4-0-0, 3KOs) of Taiwan on August 31.

She is accompanied by her trainer Jomar Fajardo.

“I am ready to fight. I’ll give all my best so that everyone will appreciate us,” said Actub.

Actub added: “I will also show them that Kim is back.”

Actub recently lost to Aka “The Nightmare” Ringo of Japan by a technical knockout in the 2nd round for the Japan Boxing Commission Japanese bantamweight title last April 15, 2023 at the EDION Arena in Osaka, Japan.

Actub is a former Philippine super bantamweight female champion and the ex-WIBA World super bantamweight champion in 2017.

She won the WIBA World title by stopping Ye Byul Lee in the 3rd round last June at Palma Gym in Suncheon, South Korea.

Actub then took the Philippine crown by a TKO over Joan Ambalong in the 5th round last October in Iligan.

Sheau, on the other hand, took the WBC Asia female super flyweight title by a majority decision victory over Saowaluk Nareepangsri of Thailand last April 27, 2023 at the Spaceplus Bangkok RCA.

Meanwhile, light flyweight Marco John Rementizo (14-4-0, 11KOs) of Cagayan de Oro City will also see action against Jinnawat Sitchansing (7-9-0) of Thailand in 6-rounds in the undercard.

The boxing event is promoted by NARI-Highland-Spaceplus International Promotions composed of Supanat Chanram, Baris Erdogan of Tunal Academy and Brico Santig of Highland Boxing Team.
