SOUTHPAW Angelo “Axe Boy” Beltran of Valencia City is confident that he will knock out veteran Ramel “The Dangerous” Antaran of Sarangani Province for the vacant MinProBA super bantamweight title on June 25 at the Bacaca Gym in Bajada, Davao City.

“(I’ll) just focus on our training to get the victory,” said the 22-year-old Beltran of Alcazar Stable.

Beltran is now doing “partner play” only because he already got the required weight at 122 pounds.

His sparring partners were unbeaten featherweight Jubert “Vampire” Buhat of Bacoor, Cavite and younger brother Crisalito Beltran.

Beltran has been training at the Alcazar Boxing Gym in Toril under coaches Jason Sanchez and Brix Ambray.

His opponent Antaran is a veteran with a total of 29 fights.

Beltran has seven wins with five knockouts and one loss while 26-year-old Antaran has five wins with 22 losses and two draws.

Pitted in the main supporting bout are undefeated Nelbert “AG Boy” Gaballo of General Santos City against veteran Reymark “Machine Gun” Taday of Cotabato City for 8-rounds.

It is brought by Barangay Captain Loreto Nicolas and SK Chairperson Jesila Sumatra.
