CEBU CITY -- The main protagonists of the 'One More Time' boxing event that will explode at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel this Saturday did a public workout at the SM Entertainment Plaza yesterday afternoon. The trio of Z Gorres, Malcolm Tu?acao and Jason Pagara did the mitts and other training routine with trainers Edito Villamor and Jeremiah Quijano in full display to the adoring fans.

Z Gorres (27-2-2, 15KOs) will defend his IBF Intercontental title against Kenyan knockout warrior Nick Otieno (15-1-0, 5KOs) in the main event while comebacking for world champion Malcolm Tu?acao (21-2-3, 14KOs) takes on Rashid Ally (11-9-7, 2KOs) in the main undercard. The youthful Jason Pagara (13-1-0, 7KOs) debuts as an ALA boy against Heri Adrianto of Indonesia.

After the workout, the boxers, together with trainer Edito Villamor and ALA Vice-President Dennis Ca?ete, answered questions from the audience.

The well-attended public workout was the first time it was done in a mall and judging by its success, will surely not be the last. "I think we're going to do this more often," said ALA Marketing manager Chad Canares. "Even our press conferences could be held in a mall because the atmosphere is very nice."
