
Alicaba ready to face Sueno on April 29

REYMARK “Lucky Boy” Alicaba of Digos City is now ready to fight against Ricardo “Smiley” Sueno of Bacolod City for the vacant Philippine Boxing Federation flyweight title on April 29 at the Montalban Sports Center in San Rose Rodriguez, Rizal.
“I want to get this belt because if I get it, this will be the result of my hard work,” said 23-year-old Alicaba.
Alicaba has been sparring with teammates Joshua Solis, Nilo Entero and Andrew Laurio.
“I have prepared for this fight,” said Alicaba, who will fight at 112 pounds.
Alicaba has been with Coach Tacy Macalos and manager Art Monis for just one year under the Hardstone Gym in La Union,
Alicaba now has a record of eight wins and four loses while Sueno has 11 wins, seven loses and four draws.
Admission is free in the “Bakbakan sa Montalban”. It is promoted by Vilma Acosta of Hardstone Monis Promotions.
