Herrera and De La Torre on the scales.
Filipino brave fighters Dela Torre, Abdulhamid, Traya and Laurel are more than ready for action in the People's Fighters Promotion set for Friday, March 10, in "The City of Gold," Dubai, U.A.E.
In the main event, undefeated Jadier Herrera (9-0, 7 KO's) of Camaguey, Cuba, and more-experienced Filipino former WBF champ "The Hammer" Harmolito Dela Torre (22-4, 14 KO's) of Cagayan de Oro will collide hard in a super-hot super featherweight battle designed to thrill fans.
The 20-year-old Jadier Herrera - currently the reigning WBC International Super Featherweight Champion - fights to follow the steps of his legendary grand-father who captured gold for Cuba in the Montreal 1976 and Moscow 1980 Olympics.
Jadier just wants to make his old man proud. Will his fight against ultra tough Harmonito Dela Torre be a stepping stone to even more challenging battles in the 130-pound division?
Or will the brave 29-year-old the battle-tested Harmonito make good use of his ring knowledge to outbox, defeat and stop in his tracks the younger Cuban fighter?
