UNDEFEATED Carl Jammes “Wonder Boy” Martin of Ifugao will face dangerous Komarich Nantapech of Thailand on December 17 at the CCDC Gym in Barangay Poblacion, La Trinidad.
The 23-year-old Martin will be making his 3rd fight this year.
His last bout was a unanimous decision against Charles Tondo of Tanzania to retain his first defense of the WBA Asia Super Bantamweight last July 30 at the SM City of San Lazaro.
Earlier, Martin stopped Ronnie Baldonado of Carmen, Cotabato in the 11th round to win the vacant WBA Asia super bantamweight title and also retain the Philippine super bantamweight title last March 12 in Paranaque City.
Nantapech (31-5-0, 22KOs), on the other hand, has not been defeated since 2018.
He won the vacant IBF Pan Pacific flyweight title by a UD over Naoki Mochizuki of Japan last 2018 in Bangkok.
In his last fight, Nantapech stopped compatriot Ihawi Chaisat in the 2nd round last August 19 at Lake Event.
The boxing event, which is promoted by Darwin Miller Depay of Pinoy Boxing Prodigy Promotion, has a total of 12 fights.
