THE official weigh-in of the “Pamaskong Handog ni Sen. Manny Pacquiao” boxing show will be held tomorrow, December 16, Wednesday at the Family Country Homes in General Santos City.
It will be managed by matchmaker Art Monis with local coordinator Sannie Sombrio.
The fights will be held on December 17, Thursday at the Oval Plaza.
It will be top billed by Ruben Dadivas of MP Davao against Jaysever “Lion Hearted” Abcede of Bukidnon.
The 23-year-old Dadivas (8-2-0, 4KOs) will try to make a comeback after losing to John Paul Gabunilas by a technical knockout via a cut on his left eyelid last August.
Abcede (21-11-0, 13KOs), on the other hand, hopes to bounce back after losing to undefeated Mark Vicelles via a knockout last June at Mandaue City.
It will be a 10-round bout in the 108-pound division.
The main supporting bout features Jestoni Autoda of Mandaluyong against Jose Ocampo of Alabel in 6-rounds.
There will also be four 4-rounders in the preliminary bouts.
They are Reyniel Alisoso vs. James Errol Gahaton; Dave Villamor vs. Rey Catrodes; Alvin Vergara vs. Rocky Sardido.
Pacquiao, who will be turning 44 on December 17, is the only eight-division world champion in the history of boxing and has won twelve major world titles.
