
Vegas Davao wins Milo 3x3 Mindanao Finals

VEGAS powered by Gas Island Mega Bulldogs Davao won the 16 Under in the MILO 3x3 Mindanao Finals held last December 10 and 11 at the Plaza Luz in Pagadian City.
Vegas was composed of Alvin Rex Villanueva, Randy Gimena, Noel Lanceta and Enrico Macavinta.
The Mega Bulldogs crushed Valencia, 12-8 in the finals.
They earlier beat Cagayan de Oro (14-6), Tagum (by default), Pagadian (7-1), Ozamiz (16 – 2) and Iligan City (11-10).
Vegas also saw action in the 12 Under and 14 Under division.
Vegas sponsored by RS Tan Construction Little Bulldogs was composed by Juaki Garcia, Abram Amaneo, Joshua Costan and Ralph Claveria.
They beat Iligan, 7-6 in the semifinals but they lost to CdO, 8-12 in the championship game.
Vegas, on the other hand, powered by Farma Auto Supply Mini Bulldogs was only played by three cagers JM Oropeza, Alberto Labandero and AJ Ejurango.
Duncan Tan did not travel due to foot injury.
Vegas only placed fourth after losing to General Santos City, 7-8.
Vegas Fuels was mentored by Coach Prince Macavinta while team owner is John Oropeza.
A total of 10 cities participated in the Mindanao Finals.
