Vitor wins first title defense

VIRGEL “Valiente” Vitor successfully made his first title defense by knocking out Dong Kwan Lee of South Korea for the World Boxing Organization Oriental super featherweight title last night, December 8 at the Calape Sports Center in Barangay Desamparados, Calape.
The 25-year-old Vitor of Tagbilaran City stopped Lee in the 2nd round after two left hooks.
Vitor thanked his manager-promoter Floriezyl Podot of Bohol and trainer Niño Jalnaiz.
Vitor earlier took the vacant WBO Oriental super featherweight title by knocking out Armon Yupang in the 3rd round last September 9 in Dimian, Bohol.
