The 22-year-old Garde immediately landed powerful punches against Makiputin in the first round.

Makiputin also tried to hurt Garde with his left and right punches early in the second round. But Garde retaliated with his own punches until the end of the round.

“My wind and strength are gone,” said Makiputin.

Garde improved his record with four wins, one loss and three knockouts while Makiputin suffered his 21 loss with 13 wins and two draws.

“Makiputin is also strong because he is a veteran”, said Garde.
