NORJ Guro of Iligan City is now ready to fight Rivuna Yoshikawa of Japan for the vacant World Boxing Organization (WBO) Asia Pacific minimumweight title on November 27 at the Sofia Sakai in Sakai, Japan.

“I still don't know when we will depart for Japan,” said the 32-year-old Guro.

The 5-foot-1 Guro is still practising at Mandaue City together with the boxers of coach Brix Flores.

In her recent fight, Guro scored a split decision win against Denise Castle of United Kingdom to snatch the vacant WBC Silver atomweight title on March 26, 2022 at the Habtoor Grand Hotel in Dubai.

Guro has 12 wins, seven loses, one draw with four knockouts.

Yoshikawa, on the other hand, has four wins, one loss, one draw with one knockout. She has two wins already this year.

Yoshikawa beat Aryumi Murakami by a unanimous decision last April 29 at Sangyo Shiko Center in Sakai.

She then crushed Natsuku Tariu by a majority decision last July 24 in Sakai.
