
Undefeated Zulueta battles Thai on Nov. 30

UNDEFEATED John Michael “Striker” Zulueta of Calatrava, Negros Occidental will defend his Asian Boxing Federation light flyweight title against Suriya Kraimanee of Thailand on November 30 at the Spaceplus Bangkok RCA in Bangkok, Thailand.
It will be the second time that Zulueta will be defending his title.
“I will try to give my best in my fight,” said Zulueta
The 27-year-old Zulueta, who is now based in Bangkok since May 2022, has three fights already in Thailand.
Zulueta first stopped Jack Amisa of Indonesia in the 5th round last May 14 at RCA Plaza-Space Pluc Bar in Bangkok.
Zulueta then scored a technical knockout in the 1st round over Somphon Banyaem of Thailand last August 3 at RCA Plaza.
In his last fight, Zulueta successfully defended his ABF light flyweight title by a TKO in the 2nd round against Sittichae Nimnual of Thailand last September 29 in Spaceplus.
Zulueta currently has a clean record of 14 wins with no loss, two draws and seven knockouts.
Kraimanee, on the other hand, has four wins, two loses with two knockouts.
The 18-year-old Thai has four bouts already this year.
He last won against Aphimar Kunchaethong by a unanimous decision on May 28 in Susmlim Night Bazaar.
But he lost to Danai Ngiabphukhiaw by a unanimous decision last September 24 at Susmlim.
The event dubbed as “The Challenger” will be presented by Highland Spaceplus Boxing Promotions.
