FEATHERWEIGHT Arnaud Darius “Leroi” Makita of the Republic of the Congo will instead fight Jeffrey “Pretty Boy” Diale of General Santos City in the “The Battle 2” on November 26 at 3 p.m. at Elorde Davao Gym.

The 29-year-old Diale replaced Jet Masangkay of Iflex Gym of Davao City after he failed to get medical permit on time.

“Masangkay can't cope up with the medical results on time,” said match maker Rodel Garde of the Davao Ultimate Knockout Challenge (DUKC) Promotion.

Diale, however, lost in his only fight against Ariel Antimaro by a knockout in the 2nd round last February 27, 2021 at Bula Gym in General Santos City.

But Diale promised he will do good this time in his second fight.

He is the younger brother of former Orient and Pacific Boxing Federation (OPBF) and Philippine flyweight champion Ardin “The Jackal” Diale (35-17-4, 17KOs), who just retired this year.

The older Diale, who is now concentrating on teaching boxing as physical fitness, lost in his last fight against Alvin Medura by a majority decision last October 29, 2021 at Elorde Sports Complex in Paranaque.

The coming boxing event is the third presentation of Davao Ultimate Knockout Challenge (DUKC) Promotion in cooperation with the Mindanao Professional Ring Officials Association (MinPROA) and the Games and Amusements Board (GAB).
